Give Me Love
Hey Everyone. Sorry that i have been M.I.A for the past couple of days since my birthday post. I have been going to Toronto a lot with my family. Oh how i missed that festive place, the city that never sleep compare to New York. It's like a mini burger only its sweeter. I believe that Toronto has a lot to offer. I been in so many places and i think Toronto is one of the greatest city i ever been. Although i never been to New York but i will never doubt it.
Last week i went to Dundas Square to be part of Filipino Making Waves Festival. They have it every year. Although i missed last year but I will never ever forget when i performed on that Stage. Yes, I did singing and dance. Well i use to but i gave that up because it's not something that i love, If you put it that way. I did Perform but it was the time when they had it in Ontario Place just across from the CNE.
If you have not been there you must go there. It is a lot of fun. Back to what i was talking about. Filipinos Making Waves is all about Music, Art and Culture. I was really glad i got to be part of it but that was four years ago. haha. This time, it was nice to see new faces. So many talented singers out there.
If you want to know more about the festival. Check it out here at filipinosmakingwaves.com I would love to meet you there next year. Hope you like my new post on lookbook. I was quite shy when i was taking photos for look-book on the street because so many people were starring at me. I need to get use to this.
Two days ago i turned 22 years old. Although i am getting old. I still feel like a kid to be honest. My family and i went to Toronto for my birthday. We went to a Korean BBQ Restaurant called Chako for Dinner. I honestly adore the atmosphere in that restaurant. I totally loved the food and in fact that they have sushi as well. After the amazing dinner, we went to York-dale mall to shop. It was my first time going in a Topshop/Topman store. I've only done online shopping from Topman but this time was different. After spending all my money, we went to Bloor St. to window shop. I couldn't possibly purchase anything from Hermes, Prada nor Gucci. I don't have that kinda money. I probably have to save one month to buy something from those amazing stores. I did have a lot of fun even though it wasn't anything big. My family and i usually go somewhere far for my birthday every year on the weekend but this time we didn't have to book off work. Hope you like this look and check out my outfit i wore on my 22nd Birthday. The look is very minimal and simple, which i always love. The Bow Tie i made, I can't stop wearing. I am totally in love with this Bow Tie now. If you want to see my other work. Please like my page to support me and Check out my Page.

Hey Everyone! just wanted to update. For the past couple of days. I have been having those Subtle days. I'm not really sure if you guys know what i'm talking about but you probably know. It's like you can't really describe what you are feeling right now but you know there is something going on but you just can't describe. Maybe because it is my birthday soon and I'm turning 22 years old. I'm probably overwhelmed the fact that i am getting older. We grow old and die one day but i'm scared to get older. I just want to be young forever. I know that my life is not perfect but i'm content with what i have going on with my life right now. It's just that feeling where you don't want to lose that feeling because you are so happy. It is just very overwhelming that's all. I guess that what we call Life.
Enough of my rant. I have been making these cute little bow tie now and then. When making these bow ties is like therapeutic. It is very calming as much as making dresses. I know that dress making is very stressful at times, specially building a portfolio for next school year. This is like stress reliever. I have been making these for my friends and family. I think i'll be making more and have my own little bow tie collection business. I'm going to start selling them to make more money and pay for tuition and since i'm moving back to Toronto again. It would really help me pay for things and such. Check out my Official facebook page for my design work and such. It would be really cool if you can like my Official Facebook Page for support on this opportunity and make sure to check out The Bay Observer. My cousin and i was featured on Summer Street Style at the Art Crawl.
